Never on a Sunday

I love this Sunday afternoon. The weather is  back to normal for March: northerly wind, cool temperature, slightly cloudly. It has been a long weekend of friends and fun. A short trip outside of Athens, an all-day birthday celebration, plenty of food and cake and drink and merriment. Charades, Taboo, more drinks and merriment.

I came home to a sad and puzzled middle-aged cat, missing his young and sprightly friend of recent, who spent the weekend chez le vet being spayed. Lit the fire, made a cuppa, lay on the sofa, cat on chest, and worried about the blog that has been abandoned for 48 hours. What to write? Mind in weekend mode, almost blank. James Rhodes playing Chopin  Prelude No. 4 in E Minor, Op. 28 , cat purring. Enjoy what’s left of the weekend.
